  • Landscape improvements including new garden beds and tree planting.

HAVE YOUR SAY

The Gibbs Park consultation is now closed.

Liverpool City Council would like to thank residents for participating and providing us with valuable feedback during the community consultation on the proposed improvements to Gibbs Park.  In general, the feedback received was not in support of the proposed children’s playground in Gibbs Park.  Council has acknowledged resident’s concerns and amendments have been made by removing the proposed children’s playground from the design.  The park upgrade works will focus on landscape beautification and implement control of illegal vehicular access into the park.  The Final Concept Plan has been uploaded here for public viewing.

Council will now proceed onto the next stage of the project, which involves preparation of construction documentation and tendering for the improvement works.  Council anticipate works on site will commence towards the beginning of next year.
