Every year Liverpool City Council hosts a variety of major events and festivals within the Liverpool CBD, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Liverpool Regional Museum and Liverpool Libraries.

Council’s major events calendar provides the perfect opportunity for organisations and businesses to align their brands with ours as sponsors or partners.

If you would like to participate in any Council events, please complete the relevant Expression of Interest forms below.

Expression of Interest Forms for Council Events

Council’s Major Events Sponsorship Proposal will equip you with all the information your organisation needs to make the first step towards working with Liverpool City Council and reaching a wide demographic of people across greater Sydney.

Cash or in-kind contributions are subject to Council’s Incoming Sponsorship Policy.

Liverpool City Council’s mobile food truck revitalisation program will deliver exciting opportunities for the community to experience our diverse cultural offerings through food, social interaction, improved liveability, and increased quality of life.

The program will also address Council’s 100 Day Plan in improving the amenity and activation of a number of our local parks and iconic locations.

Council accepts EOIs from performers and artists who are individuals, ensembles, collectives, or theatre/production companies. Performances can include live music, theatre, circus and aerobatics, performance art, or anything of a performative nature.

Starry Sari Nights 2024 – Current Expression of Interest Forms

Starry Sari Nights is the ultimate immersion into South Asian culture – a distinct entertainment experience, transforming Macquarie Mall into a gateway of the ever-evolving, rich South Asian culture through cuisine, fashion, dance, music, and art.

Starry Sari Nights is a two-day event taking place from Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th September 2024.

Applications for this event must be submitted by Friday 26th July 2024.

Our event welcomes all food and merchandise stallholders relative to the cultural regions of South Asia. We warmly encourage local businesses and artisans to apply. Please ensure the points below are reviewed before completing the Stallholder EOI:

  • Vendors must be available to trade for the full two day event (Saturday - Sunday). In filling out this form, you are committing to trading for all two-days.
  • Vendors should have a focus on social media outreach and a unique offering that is experience focused.
  • Vendors must provide detailed information on their service and power requirements to ensure appropriate infrastructure and floorplan allocations are provided.
  • Culturally specific to the event theme.

We are looking for both traditional and modern cultural performances from South Asian regions such as singers, dancers, bands, drum players, etc!

Please ensure the points below are reviewed before completing the Performer EOI:

  • Performers have the option to perform on either day (Saturday or Sunday) or both days.
  • Performers need to provide a full detailed outline of their performers, number of performers and rates.

To bring the authenticity of South Asia regions, we will be hosting workshops for the community to fully immerse and experience the culture. We invite any types of workshops such as arts and crafts, kids activities, sporting, apparel making or dressing – the ideas are limitless!

Please ensure the points below are reviewed before completing the Workshop EOI:

  • Vendors are not restricted to host workshops across the two trading days, however preferred
  • Vendors should have a focus on social media outreach and a unique offering that is experience focused.
  • Vendors must provide detailed information on their service and power requirements to ensure appropriate infrastructure and floorplan allocations are provided.

After the success of our Sari Showcases in 2022 and 2023, we are bringing it back, bigger and better! The Starry Sari Showcase will be coordinated by the Showcase Coordinator. The mainstage will feature a catwalk for the Sari Showcase, allowing us to delve deeper into different styling, garments and various fashions for women, men and children, for a number of occasions, such as wedding, outings and casual wear.

Please ensure the points below are reviewed before completing the Showcase EOI – applicants must have:

  • Relevant showcase coordination experience in the fashion industry
  • Submission of images and/or video of previous experience
  • Provision of 1-2 referee details
  • Availability within the stated time periods (both days of the event)
  • Provision of a proposal and fee
  • Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance

After the success of our Sari Showcases in 2022 and 2023, we are bringing it back, bigger and better! The Sari Showcase will be broken down into 3 fifteen minute sessions with 5 showcases from 5 different businesses per session. Please see EOI for Terms and Conditions.

Chefs will go head to head to be voted Liverpool’s best homemade curry chef, taking place on the first day of the event. Contestants are invited to showcase their best curry recipe where they will be cooking live and judged by our governing panel. The winner will be crowned Best Curry Cook and awarded a cash prize.

Celebrate springtime in Sydney’s south-west with the vibrant flavours, colours and sounds of Latin America at Primavera, a weekend-long festival.

Walk through smoky hawker-style markets as we bring traditional and contemporary Latin dishes to your table; empanadas, pupusas, arepas and birria tacos. A highlight will be the mainstage program and a colourful street parade every night of the festival.

Talofa, Kia Ora, Bula, Kia Orana, Malo e Lelei, G’Day!

Pasifika Summer will showcase the beautiful Pacific Island nations over three days in Liverpool. Spend your evening enjoying a traditional Hangi feed from the best food vendors from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, the Cook Islands, New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu.

Featuring a full mainstage entertainment program, including live music, traditional dances, fashion shows, drumming, and fire-twirling performances as well as activities, workshops, markets, and giveaways – Pasifika Summer is not to be missed!
